Still dealing with the same problem after five specialists?
I help you build a better sense of how your body moves, so the change can finally stick.
Book your assessmentSee how it worksI’m Joe Gonzalez. Most people find me after physical therapy, chiropractic care, orthopedists, mobility work, or training gave them only part of the answer.

You probably don’t need another list of exercises.
You may already know what to stretch, strengthen, or avoid. The problem is that your brain still has to predict how you will move before you move. If the sensory information going in is vague, the prediction can be off.
The approach I use is called sensory remapping. We make hard-to-feel parts of your body easier to sense, then build that awareness into movement.
The cerebellum runs prediction models of movement. Better sensory input means better predictions.
What a session looks like
First, we find the sensory information – which muscles aren’t reporting in clearly. If you can’t feel it, you can’t load it; nothing else matters until that’s there.
Then we load the pattern and challenge it, so it holds under real demand.
Then we refine how subtle your awareness can get. That stage never really ends – and it’s why people stay for years.
Remote anywhere or in person in Manhattan. The coaching process and price are the same either way.

“In the fewer than 5 collective hours Joe has spent on working with me, my pain has completely disappeared… This is vastly more progress than the hundreds of hours I have spent with some of the highest paid physical therapists, trainers, and orthopedists in the country.”Ted Calaman, Managing Director, Newmark

“We have addressed the initial pain that brought me to Joe, but I have continued our sessions because working with him has greatly improved my quality of life.”Brette Graber, VP of Client Services, Mass Appeal

Fifteen minutes, free. You tell me what keeps coming back and what you’ve already tried. I’ll tell you honestly whether this is something sensory remapping can help with, and if it isn’t, I’ll say so. No sales pitch, no exercises, no diagnosis.

What clients have brought to this work
Most people find me after something else gave them part of the answer. Physical therapy got them 60% of the way. The adjustment held for two days. The scan said nothing was wrong.
- A dancer couldn’t move her arm freely because of collarbone pain. Doctors in her home country told her nothing could be done. Four or five sessions later, she was dancing again.
- A real estate investor, 85, had vertigo so bad the room spun unless he lay on one side. Once his hips started moving again, alternating side to side, the room stopped spinning.
- A finance executive lived with neck pain for over six years and took painkillers every night to fall asleep. He doesn’t anymore.
- A gym owner had shoulder pain that made bench pressing impossible for nine months. We found the missing movement in one 45-minute session.
- A casting agent woke up with a neck so stiff it would only turn halfway. It unlocked from the ribs, and full rotation came back with zero tension.
- A retired grandmother had back pain so severe she screamed when she woke up. The fix started with how she was breathing.
- A marketing executive had knee pain during squats that came down to force traveling unevenly through one heel.
- A client services executive arrived with low back pain, pelvis pain, and jaw pain (TMJ), years after a piece of her pelvis had broken off. She never had surgery. We worked on the compensation patterns, and she’s now symptom-free.
And I’ll tell you when it isn’t my lane: a professor couldn’t stand for ten minutes without back pain. After three months, all that was left was mild discomfort in one foot. COVID meant no podiatrist visit. I suspected it was structural, and a year later he confirmed it: an extra bone.
Every situation is different. This is coaching, not medical diagnosis or physical therapy.
